In the kingdom of God signs of authentic transformation are tangibly demonstrated

The hungry are feed, the poor are cared for, justice is established - this is God's vision of God's people transforming the world God's way.

Charity, equality, and mercy are marks of the Kingdom of the Messiah.

In prison John the Baptist began to doubt that Jesus was actually the Messiah, so John sent his followers to Jesus for reassurance. They said asked Jesus: "Are you the one who was to come, should we expect someone else?" ( see Luke 7:20).

Jesus responded by listing the signs that heralded the coming of the Messiah: "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard. The blind can now see, the lame can now walk, those who have leprosy have been cured, the deaf can now hear, the dead are raised, and the the Good News is preached to the poor". (see Luke 7:22).

Jesus encouraged John by pointing to the tangible evidence of the coming of God's kingdom through Himself - the Messiah.

In the kingdom of God, authentic signs of transformation - compassion, mercy, justice and love - are tangibly demonstrated.
