Lord, grant us grace that we may learn to listen to you

In meditation, the ear of the soul is more important than the tongue.

Saint Paul says that faith comes from listening. Sometimes we make mistake with our friends - we do all the taking. And we make the same mistake with God. God has things to tell us which will enlighten us if only we wait for Him to speak.

We don’t go to see a Doctor just  rattle all our symptoms and leave without waiting for the diagnosis. Or, it is a bit as stupid to ring God’s door bell  and then run away.

The Lord hear us more readily than we suspect.
