God's kingdom is begin on earth

The kingdom of God, captured in the Beatitudes, which Christ speaks is one in which the poor, the sick, the grieving, cripples, slaves, women, children, widows, orphans,  lepers, aliens - the least of these - are to be lifted up and to be embraced by God. (see Matt. 5:3 -10; 5:40).

In the kingdom of God, justice is a reality, first in the hearts and minds of His followers, and then to the wider society through their influence.

Followers of Christ are salt and light of the world. (see Matt. 5:13-14). They are the yeast that leavens the whole loaf of bread. (see Matt. 13:33).

The kingdom of God is a not far off and distant to be experience only in the afterlife. No. Christ's proclamation of the kingdom of God is a call to the redeemed to redeem the world with Him. When Christ comes back,  He is to complete what His followers have begun. The perfect kingdom of God is to begin on earth.
