The Cross is the core of the Gospel

The Cross. History has idolized it, or despised it;  gold plated it, or burned it; worn it, or trashed it. History has done everything to the Cross but ignore it. That’s an option the Cross does not offer.

Who can ignore a piece of wood that suspended a carpenter claiming to be God on earth?  No wonder Saint Paul call the Cross the “Core of the Gospel”.

If the account of the Cross is true, it is history’s greatest event. If not, it is history’s greatest hoax.
